America the Beautiful quarters list (2010–2021), with the W mint marks
Updated · Fernhart Labs
Short answer
There are 56 America the Beautiful quarters, one national park or other national site for every state, DC and the five territories. They were issued five a year from 2010 to 2020, plus one in 2021 (Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site, the last).
All were struck for circulation at Philadelphia (P) and Denver (D). The ten designs of 2019 and 2020 also have a W from West Point, the only W quarters ever released into circulation.

Circulation mint marks. The W column applies to 2019 and 2020 only. S uncirculated versions were sold to collectors from 2012 and are not listed. Data: the U.S. Mint's program and coin pages, as used by Coinfold.
The W quarters (2019 and 2020)
In 2019 the U.S. Mint struck 10 million quarters at West Point, 2 million of each of the five 2019 designs, and released them into circulation mixed in with ordinary quarters: the first W quarters ever. It did the same in 2020, when the W quarters also carried a small V75 privy mark marking the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
That makes ten W coins to find: Lowell, American Memorial Park, War in the Pacific, San Antonio Missions and Frank Church River of No Return (2019); National Park of American Samoa, Weir Farm, Salt River Bay, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller and Tallgrass Prairie (2020). For 2020, the Mint's own announcement names two of the designs; collector references list W coins for all five.
How the order was set
The law that created the program (Public Law 110-456) has the sites issued in the order they were first established as national sites, which is why the series starts with Hot Springs, Yellowstone and Yosemite. Each state, DC and territory has exactly one coin.
Mint marks in this series
- P (Philadelphia) and D (Denver): every design, for circulation.
- W (West Point): the 2019 and 2020 designs, released into circulation.
- S (San Francisco): proofs, and from 2012 uncirculated S quarters sold to collectors in rolls and bags; not released into circulation.
Before and after
The program followed the 50 State Quarters (1999–2008) and the DC and territories quarters (2009). In 2021 the quarter's reverse became General George Washington Crossing the Delaware, followed by the American Women Quarters (2022–2025), the Semiquincentennial quarters (2026) and the Youth Sports quarters from 2027.
